M-603 Body-worn cameras

That, in the opinion of the House, the government should consider encouraging the employment of body-worn cameras and police cruiser dashboard cameras as essential policing tools of investigative assistance by all police forces across Canada, with the objective of: (a) decreasing instances of police and public violence; (b) lowering crime rates and ensuring the effective use of policing hours; and (c) decreasing courtroom time and costs.
