M-54 — March 23, 2022 — Mr. Kmiec (Calgary Shepard) — That, in the opinion of the House, M-54 — 23 mars 2022 — M. Kmiec (Calgary Shepard) — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre,
(a) the First-Time Home Buyer Incentive (FTHBI) introduced in 2019 to respond to mounting problems of housing affordability has failed on the following points: a) l’Incitatif à l’achat d’une première propriété (IAPP) lancé en 2019 pour faire face aux problèmes croissants en matière de logement abordable a été un échec sur les points suivants :
(i) the average home price in 2021 increased by 26.6%, (i) le prix moyen d’une habitation en 2021 a augmenté de 26,6 %,
(ii) Canada has the lowest supply of homes and the fastest rising house prices in the G7, (ii) le Canada affiche la plus faible offre d’habitations et la plus rapide augmentation du prix des maisons du G7,
(iii) the FTHBI had a goal to help 100,000 Canadians by September 2022, (iii) l’IAPP s’était fixé l’objectif d’aider 100 000 Canadiens d’ici septembre 2022,
(iv) the FTHBI only had 13,961 approved applicants by February 2022, (iv) l’IAPP ne comptait que 13 961 demandes approuvées en février 2022,

M-55 — March 23, 2022 — Mr. Redekopp (Saskatoon West) — That, given the ongoing war of aggression in Ukraine and the possibility of the war spilling over into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s (NATO) defended territory, in the opinion of the House, the government should: M-55 — 23 mars 2022 — M. Redekopp (Saskatoon-Ouest) — Que, étant donné la guerre d’agression en cours en Ukraine et la possibilité que cette guerre empiète sur le territoire défendu par l’Organisation du traité de l’Atlantique Nord (OTAN), de l’avis de la Chambre, le gouvernement devrait :

(b) focus this funding on expanding Canada’s war fighting capabilities; b) injecter ces fonds dans l’expansion des capacités de combat du Canada;
(c) authorize the departments of Public Works and Government Services and National Defence to make capital purchases for the CAF on an urgent basis using national security grounds and waving bureaucratic red tape; and c) autoriser les ministères des Travaux publics et des Services gouvernementaux et de la Défense nationale à faire de toute urgence l’acquisition d’immobilisations pour les FAC, en invoquant des motifs de sécurité nationale et en s’affranchissant du fardeau administratif;
(d) immediately enter into an agreement with the United States of America to use Canadian territory for the deployment of its ballistic missile system and provide funding and operational personnel for such a system based within in its territory. d) conclure immédiatement un accord avec les États-Unis d'Amérique concernant l’utilisation du territoire canadien pour le déploiement de leur système de missiles balistiques, ainsi que la fourniture du financement et du personnel opérationnel nécessaires à l’exploitation d’un tel système sur son territoire.
