M-218 System and labelling to determine environmental impact

Motion Text
That, in the opinion of the House, the government should: (a) develop a system of simple symbols that enables consumers to easily determine a product’s environmental impact; and (b) amend product labelling rules so that information about a product’s environmental impact is indicated on its packaging to help consumers make informed choices.
