On Thursday, September 18, 2025, the committee adopted the following motion:

That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee undertake a study, of no fewer than 6 meetings, on suicide prevention among veterans, that members submit their lists of witnesses to the Clerk by Friday, September 26 at 4:00 p.m., that the committee report its findings to the House, and that, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.
