Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, February 23, 2026, the committee resumed its study of the impact of the Defence Industrial Strategy.

Pierre Seïn Pyun, France Hébert, Hugh Kolias, Mike Greenley, Rahul Goel and Bachar Elzein made statements and answered questions.

Notice of Motion

James Bezan gave notice of the following motion:

That the Minister of National Defence and officials be invited to appear on the Supplementary Estimates (A), 2026-27, for two hours; and that this meeting take place at least five calendar days before the Supplementary Estimates (A), 2026-27, are to be reported to the House.

At 12:35 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

It was agreed, — That the proposed amended budget in the amount of $30,400, for the study of the impact of the Defence Industrial Strategy, be adopted.

At 12:51 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
