Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, November 20, 2023, the committee resumed its study of accessible transportation for persons with disabilities.

France Pégeot, Stephanie Cadieux and Karen Hogan made statements and answered questions.

At 12:12 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:20 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Monette Pasher, Kurush Minocher and Tamara Vrooman made statements and answered questions.

At 1:00 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:04 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $21,500, for the study of accessible transportation for persons with disabilities, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the Competition Act and air travel in northern, rural, and remote communities of Canada, the proposed budget in the amount of $211,977.90, for the committee’s travel to Whitehorse, Yukon, Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Fredericton, New Brunswick, Mont-joli, Québec, Kuujjuaq, Québec and Québec, Québec in Spring - Summer 2024, be adopted and presented to the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets of the Liaison Committee.

At 1:13 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
