Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, March 21, 2022, the committee commenced its study of creating a fair and equitable Canadian energy transformation.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 11,925, for the study of creating a fair and equitable canadian energy transformation, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That Committee members submit their prioritized witness lists, with the witnesses’ complete contact information, to the Clerk of the Committee no later than Friday, April 8.

Debbie Scharf and Andrew Brown made statements and, with Chris Bates and Roisin Reed, answered questions.

On motion of James Maloney, it was agreed, — That the committee make the necessary arrangements for a reception on Monday, March 21, 2022, with a delegation from Finland.

Motion

James Maloney moved, — That the committee do now adjourn.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 6; NAYS: 5.

At 5:34 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
