The Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade met at 12:07 p.m. this day, in Room 237-C Centre Block, the Vice-Chair, Stockwell Day, presiding. |
Members of the Committee present: Stéphane Bergeron, Murray Calder, Aileen Carroll, Bill Casey, Stockwell Day, Alexa McDonough and Karen Redman. |
In attendance: Library of Parliament: James Lee, Analyst; Gerald Schmitz, Principal. |
Witnesses: University of Ankara (Turkey): Osman Tastan, Professor of Islamic Law. |
| Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), and the motion adopted by the Committee on February 6, 2003, the Committee resumed its study of relations with Muslim countries |
