Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Health on Thursday, October 4, 2018, the Subcommittee commenced its study of sports-related concussions in Canada.

Hon. Ken Dryden made a statement and answered questions.

At 7:09 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 7:13 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Rachel Lord and Carly Hodgins made statements and, with Sharra Hodgins and Chris Lord, answered questions.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $39,800, for the study of sports-related concussions in Canada, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed communication plan to promote the study of sports-related concussions in Canada be adopted and that the analysts and the Clerk, in collaboration with the Chair, prepare the appropriate documentation.

At 8:07 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
