Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the order of reference of Thursday, June 2, 2022, and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, June 13, 2022, the committee commenced its study of Hockey Canada’s involvement in alleged sexual assaults committed in 2018.

It was agreed, — That David Andrews, Scott Smith, and Tom Renney be permitted to be assisted by counsel during their appearance today, Monday, June 20, 2022, concerning Hockey Canada’s involvement in alleged sexual assaults committed in 2018.

It was agreed, — That the evidence to be given by Scott Smith, Tom Renney and Dave Andrews, in relation to the study of Hockey Canada’s involvement in alleged sexual assaults committed in 2018, be taken under oath or by solemn affirmation.

Tom Renney, duly sworn in, made a statement and, with Scott Smith and David Andrews, also duly sworn in, answered questions.

At 6:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 6:17 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The Minister made a statement and, with Isabelle Mondou, answered questions.

At 7:06 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
