Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee proceeded to a briefing on the war in Ukraine.

Yuliya Kovaliv made a statement and answered questions.

At 5:44 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 6:06 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), the sitting was suspended.

At 6:18 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee proceeded to a briefing on the current situation in Haiti.

Sylvie Bédard made a statement and, with Sébastien Beaulieu, answered questions.

At 6:49 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 6:52 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $2,000, for the briefing on the war in Ukraine, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Canada's approach to Africa, the work plan, as amended, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Monday, December 13, 2021, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on International Human Rights of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, the committee commenced its study of international disability-inclusive education.

It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Including Every Child, Benefitting All: International Disability-Inclusive Education".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

At 7:03 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
