Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, February 1, 2023, the committee resumed consideration of the report of the Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission for Quebec 2022.

Stéphane Bergeron, Claude DeBellefeuille and Jean-Denis Garon made statements and answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the committee, as part of its study on foreign election interference, invite the Independent Special Rapporteur on Foreign Interference, the Right Hon. David Johnston, to appear alone before the committee.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed supplementary budget in the amount of $ 8,500, for the study of the foreign election interference, be adopted.

At 1:10 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
