Chuck Maillet, Marie-Claude Petit, Margaret Buist, Lucie Perreault, Linda Cousineau, Abdul Jalil and Jean-Denis Charlebois made statements and, with Joanne Pawluk, Jess Dunford, Steven Masson and Dave Boland, answered questions.
It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 10,475.00, for the study of federal assistance for various natural resources industries, be adopted.
The Chair presented the Eighth Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows:
Your subcommittee met on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, to consider the business of the committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:
1. That, for the study of Federal Assistance for Various Natural Resources Industries, witnesses be invited to appear as per the amended workplan distributed to the committee, and that members be kept informed of any required substitutions to the proposed panels based on the availability of the witnesses.
It was agreed, — That the Eighth Report from the subcommittee be concurred in.
It was agreed, — That, James Maloney be granted access to the committee’s digital binders until the end of the current session.
On motion of Mario Simard, it was agreed, — That the deadline for the submission of briefs in relation to the study of federal assistance for various natural resources industries be the Friday following the last meeting held with witnesses.
At 1:03 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
