MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 1997 The Sub-Committee on the Sittings of the House of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met at 10:23 a.m., this day, in Room 306 (West Block), Bob Kilger (Chair) presiding. Members of the Sub-Committee present: Stéphane Bergeron, Bill Blaikie, André Harvey, Bob Kilger and Randy White. Acting Member present: Peter Adams for Don Boudria. In attendance:. From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: James Robertson, Research Officer. Witness: From the House of Commons: Robert Marleau, Clerk of the House. The Sub-Committee resumed consideration of its Order of Reference from the Committee dated Tuesday, October 28, 1997, in relation to questions and options on the sitting schedule of the House. Robert Marleau made an opening statement and anwered questions. At 11:04 a.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair. |
