MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS
Meeting No. 2
Wednesday, December 5, 2001
The Sub-Committee on Veterans Affairs of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met in camera at 3:37 p.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair Colleen Beaumier, presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Roy
Bailey, Colleen Beaumier, Louis Plamondon, Carmen Provenzano, Elsie Wayne and
Bob Wood.
Acting Member present: Dan McTeague for
David Price.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Michel Rossignol, Research Officers.
The Sub-Committee considered its future business.
It was agreed, - That the Sub-Committee undertake hearings on Long-Term Care for Veterans.
It was also agreed, - That the Royal Canadian Legion be invited to appear before the Sub-Committee as the first witness when the Sub-Committee will resume its activities at the beginning of next February.
At 3:55 p.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
