Meeting No. 4
Wednesday, March 19, 2003
The Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs of the Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 3:40 p.m. this day, in Room 307, West Block, the Chair, Bob Wood, presiding.
Members of the Subcommittee present: Roy Bailey, Ivan Grose, Louis Plamondon, Rose-Marie Ur, Elsie Wayne, Bob Wood.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Michel Rossignol, Research Officer.
Witness: From the University of Manitoba: Evelyn Shapiro, Professor-Senior Scholar, Department of Community Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Subcommittee resumed consideration of its study on Long-Term Care for Veterans.
The witness made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 4:50 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
