The Standing Committee on Official Languages met in a televised session at 4:48 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D Centre Block, the Vice-Chair, Raymond Simard, presiding. |
Members of the Committee present: Claude Drouin, Christian Jobin, Marcel Proulx, Scott Reid, Raymond Simard and Yolande Thibeault. |
In attendance: Library of Parliament: Marion Ménard, Analyst. |
Witnesses: Commission nationale des parents francophones: Murielle Gagné-Ouellette, Director General; Rodrigue Landry, Consultant; Ghislaine Pilon, President. |
| Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(f), the Committee commenced its study on the federal government contribution to early childhood development under the Action Plan for Official Languages |
Ghislaine Pilon and Rodrigue Landry made statements and, with the other witness, answered questions. |
At 5:33 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair. |
