FEWO Committee Meeting

    The meeting is public because there's a motion that we need to deal with from Anita Neville.

    As members recall, Ms. Neville withdrew this temporarily from the table to see if in fact we would get the things that we asked for. Those things have still not arrived, so she's bringing back her motion. It's a motion you know well.

    I just want to confirm through you, Madam Chair, with the clerk that this information has not been received.

    I spoke to the motion at the last meeting. I'm not going to belabour it. I think it's incumbent on a department, or in this case an agency of the Department of Canadian Heritage, to provide information and to provide it in a somewhat timely manner. It's been two and a half months since the information was requested by the committee. It's unfortunate that we have to resort to this kind of method to do it, but I do think the committee is entitled to the information that it asked for and entitled to it in a timely manner. I'm not going to belabour it.
