Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday, December 10, 2019, the committee resumed its study of Canada-China relations.

Marta Morgan made a statement and, with Paul Thoppil, answered questions.

At 10:31 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:34 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Steve Verheul made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 11:14 a.m., Chris Warkentin took the Chair.

It was agreed, — That the subcommittee meet on Thursday, February 6, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

At 11:44 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
