Minutes of Proceedings
Yvan Zinger made a statement and answered questions.
The chair presented the First Report from the subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows:
Your subcommittee met on Thursday, February 20, 2020, to consider the business of the committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:
1- That pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), on Tuesday February 25, from 8:45 to 10:15 a.m., the committee receive a briefing from Dr. Ivan Zinger, Correctional Investigator, on the Report of the Correctional Investigator for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2019.
2- That on Tuesday February 25, from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m., the subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure meet to select witnesses for the study related to the Order of Reference received by the committee on Wednesday February 5, 2020.
3- That pursuant to Standing Order 81(5) the committee invite the Minister to appear before the committee on Thursday February 27, 2020, from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. and senior officials from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. for the purpose of studying the Supplementary Estimates (B) 2019-20.
It was agreed, — That the First Report from the subcommittee be concurred in.
At 10:15 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
