Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, March 10, 2021, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-205, An Act to amend the Health of Animals Act.

Motion

Kody Blois moved, — That, notwithstanding the motions adopted by the committee on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, regarding Bill C-205, An Act to amend the Health of Animals Act, the witnesses that were scheduled to appear on Thursday, June 10, 2021, be rescheduled to Tuesday, June 15, 2021; that clause-by-clause consideration of this bill commence on Thursday, June 17, 2021; and that amendments be submitted to the clerk of the committee no later than 12:00 p.m. (EDT) on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 11; NAYS: 0.

At 3:40 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 3:41 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Jane Pritchard made a statement and answered questions.

At 4:28 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
