Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on September 29, 2022, the committee resumed its study of military health system and provision of health and transition services under the Canadian Forces Health Services Group.

On motion of Bryan May, it was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Threat Analysis Affecting Canada and the Canadian Armed Forces' Operational Readiness to Meet Those Threats, the proposed budget in the amount of $264,804.58, for the committee’s travel to Tallinn, Estonia, Riga, Latvia, Warsaw, Poland, Wroclaw, Poland, and London, United Kingdom, in the travel period of June to December 2023, be adopted and submitted to the Subcommittee on Committee Budget for consideration.

Laurie Ogilvie and Steven Harris made statements and, with Mark Roy and Jane Hicks, answered questions.

At 9:46 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:52 a.m., the sitting resumed in public.

Ayla Azad, Andrew Bennett and Matthew McDaniel made statements and answered questions.

On motion of Jennifer O'Connell, it was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Military Health System and Provision of Health and Transition Services under the Canadian Forces Health Services Group, the proposed budget in the amount of $5,100, be adopted.

At 10:56 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
