Pursuant to the order of reference of Monday, June 16, 2025, the committee commenced consideration of Bill C-5, An Act to enact the Free Trade and Labour Mobility in Canada Act and the Building Canada Act.

At 4:32 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 4:44 p.m., the meeting resumed.

Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak, Maxime St-Hilaire and Catherine Swift made statements and, with Julie McGregor, answered questions.

At 6:05 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
