MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS
Meeting No. 3
Tuesday, March 23, 1999
The Sub-Committee on Children & Youth at Risk of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 306, West Block, the Chair, John Godfrey, presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Christiane Gagnon, John Godfrey, Rey Pagtakhan, Diane St-Jacques.
Other Members present: Bonnie Brown, Carolyn Bennett.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Sandra Harder and Jim Young, Research Officers.
Witnesses:From the Institute of Public Administration of Canada: Don Lenihan, Research Director. As Individual: Tom Kent.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108 (2) study relating to issues regarding the future of children and youth in Canada.
The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 4:58 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
