Wednesday, May 31, 2000
The Sub-Committee on Improved Financial Reporting to Parliament of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met at 3:42 p.m. this day, in Room 306, West Block, the Chair, Paul Szabo, presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Marlene Catterall, Tony Ianno, Benoît Sauvageau and Paul Szabo.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Jean Dupuis, Research Officer.
Witnesses: From the The Parliamentary Centre: Peter Dobell, Founding Director.
Pursuant to the Order adopted by the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs on Thursday, May 4, 2000, consideration of measures and procedures to improve financial reporting to Parliament.
Peter Dobell made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 4:39 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 4:42 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
At 4:54 p.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
