The Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology met at 9:12 a.m. this day, in Room 308 West Block, the Chair, Walt Lastewka, presiding. |
Members of the Committee present: Larry Bagnell, Paul Crête, Cheryl Gallant, Walt Lastewka, Serge Marcil, Brian Masse, Dan McTeague, Gilbert Normand, James Rajotte, Brent St. Denis, Paddy Torsney and Joseph Volpe. |
In attendance: Library of Parliament: Dan Shaw, Analyst; Lalita Acharya, Analyst. |
Witnesses: Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers' Association: Eda Crossmile, Manager, External Affairs and Public Policy; Mark Nantais, President. |
| Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee commenced its study of Status of Canada's Automotive Sector. |
Mark Nantais made an opening statement and with the other witness answered questions. |
At 10:55 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair. |
