Monday, December 9, 2002
The Standing Committee on Official Languages met at 3:47 p.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Mauril Bélanger, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Mauril Bélanger, Eugène Bellemare, Gérard Binet, Christiane Gagnon, Yvon Godin, Massimo Pacetti, Scott Reid and Raymond Simard.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Marion Ménard, Analyst.
Witnesses: From the Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages: Dyane Adam, Commissioner of Official Languages; Johane Tremblay, General Counsel, Director, Legal Services; Michel Robichaud, Director General, Investigations Branch; Gérard Finn, Advisor to the Commissioner; Guy Renaud, Director General, Policy and Communications Branch.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3), study of the annual report of the Commissioner of Official Languages.
Dyane Adam made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.
At 5:33 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
