Wednesday, May 28, 2003
The Standing Committee on Public Accounts met in camera at 3:37 p.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Vice-Chair, Beth Phinney, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: John Finlay, Roger Gaudet, Mac Harb, Val Meredith, Shawn Murphy and Beth Phinney.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Jean Dupuis, Analyst.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(e), the Committee commenced consideration of a draft report on Chapter 1 (Human Resources Development Canada - The Integrity of the Social Insurance Number) of the September 2002 Report of the Auditor General of Canada.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(e), and a motion of the Committee dated February 12, 2003, the Committee commenced consideration of a draft report on the Public Accounts of Canada 2001-2002, Volume 2, Part II, Section 3 - Losses of Public Money or Property
At 3:53 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
