MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS
Meeting No. 15
Monday, June 9, 2003
The Subcommittee on the Estimates Process of the Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates met in camera at 5:30 p.m. this day, in Room 306, West Block, the Co-Chair, Tony Valeri, presiding.
Members of the Subcommittee present: Gerry Ritz, Paul Szabo and Tony Valeri.
Acting Members present: Reg Alcock for Tony Tirabassi; Robert Lanctôt for Gilles A. Perron.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Philippe Le Goff, analyst; Jack Stilborn, analyst.
Pursuant to the motion of the Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates adopted November 26, 2002, the Subcommittee resumed its study to inquire into matters relating to the review of the process for considering the estimates and supply.
The Subcommittee resumed consideration of a draft report.
On motion of Paul Szabo, it was agreed, -That the draft report be the first report of the Subcommittee and that
the Chair do present the report to the Standing Committee on Government
Operations and Estimates.
It was agreed, - That,
pursuant to Standing Order 108(1)(a), the Subcommittee authorize the
printing of brief dissenting and/or supplementary opinions as appendices to
this report.
At 5:58 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
