MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS
Meeting No. 2
Tuesday, February 2, 1999
The Sub-Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met in camera at 11:16 a.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, Carolyn Bennett, presiding.
Members of the Sub-Committee present: Carolyn Bennett, Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral, Joe Jordan, Wendy Lill and The Hon. Andy Scott.
Acting Member(s) present: Reg Alcock for Nancy Karetak-Lindell and Deborah Grey for Diane Ablonczy.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Bill Young and Sandra Harder, Research Officers.
The Committee proceeded to discuss future business.
It is agreed, - That the Sub-Committee on the Status of Persons with Disabilities request from the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities an interim budget of $2,000 to reimburse the expenses of the out of town witnesses it propose to hear in its second round table on "New Directions Policy Options and Accountability".
At 12:28 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
