The Standing Committee on Finance met at 1:30 p.m. this day, in Toronto at the Toronto Congress Centre in Gordon Pinsent 1-2-3 room, the Chair, Sue Barnes, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Sue Barnes, Scott Brison, The Hon. Maria Minna, Gary Pillitteri, Bryon Wilfert.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Blayne Haggart, Marc-André Pigeon, Research Officers. From the Committees Directorate: Marc-Olivier Girard, Committee Clerk.
Witnesses: From the ALS Society of Canada: Susan Graham Walker, Director of Communications and Program; Teresa Riverso, President, (Metro Toronto and Area) Member of Board of Directors; Audrey McKinnon, Caregiver. Pursuant to Standing Order 83.1, the Committee continued its pre-budget discussions.
Susan Graham Walker, Teresa Riverso, Audrey McKinnon, David Campbell, Robert Elliott, Frances Chung, Cyndy Degiusti, Manuel Buchwald, Joseph Oliver, each made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.
At 15:05 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 15:18 p.m., the sitting resumed.
