Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Friday, October 7, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the government's response to the final report of the Special Committee on Afghanistan.

The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada made a statement and, with Robert Brookfield and Glenn Gilmour, answered questions.

At 5:30 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:38 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The Minister of National Defence, with Bill Matthews, Gen Wayne D. Eyre and MGen Paul Prévost, answered questions.

At 6:40 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
