MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS
Thursday, October 16, 1997
The Standing Committee on Finance met at 1:30 o’clock p.m. this day in the Canadian North Room, Regina, the Vice-Chair, Paddy Torsney presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Roger Gallaway, David Iftody, Gilles A. Perron, Gerry Ritz and Paddy Torsney.
Associate Members present: Scott Brison and Lorne Nystrom.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch, Library of Parliament: Richard Domingue, Research Officer.
Witnesses: From the Saskatchewan Action Committee on the Status of Women: Kripa Sekhar, Executive & Communications; Erika Cnacino, Saskatchewan Action Committee. From the Saskatchewan Construction Association: Manley McLachlan, Executive Director. As Individual: Ralph Ottenbreit.
In accordance with its mandate under Standing Order 83.1 the Committee resumed its Pre-Budget Consultation study. (See Minutes of Proceedings, Meeting No. 3, Wednesday, October 15, 1997).
The witnesses of Round Table Three made statements and answered questions.
At 2:45 o’clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
