Meeting No. 68

Monday, February 22, 1999

The Sub-Committee of the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met at 1:06 p.m. this day, in the Scandia Room of the Valhalla Inn, Thunder Bay, Ontario, the Chair, Sarmite Bulte, presiding.

Members of the Sub-Committee present: Mauril Bélanger, Sarmite Bulte, Eric Lowther and Benoît Sauvageau.

Other Members present: Joe Comuzzi and Stan Dromisky.

In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Wanda Noël, Consultant.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Sub-Committee resumed consideration of a Canadian Cultural Policy.

The Chair made opening remarks.

The members and participants proceeded to a round table discussion and invited comments from the audience.

At 3:27 p.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
