The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 3:35 p.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, David Pratt, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Claude Bachand, Leon Benoit, Peter Goldring, Janko Perić, David Pratt, Geoff Regan, Elsie Wayne.
Acting Member present: Ivan Grose for Bryon Wilfert.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Wolf Koerner and Michel Rossignol, Research Officers.
Witness: As Individual: Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire, Retired.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of its study on the state of readiness of the Canadian Forces.
Lieutenant-General Dallaire made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 5:45 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
