MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS
Meeting No. 4
Tuesday, December 14, 1999
The Sub-Committee on Children & Youth at Risk of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met in camera at 9:35 a.m. this day, in Room 307, West Block, the Chair, John Godfrey, presiding.
Member(s) of the Sub-Committee present: Carolyn Bennett, Libby Davies, Christiane Gagnon, John Godfrey, Eric Lowther.
Acting Member(s) present: Andy Scott for Diane Marleau and John McKay for Raymonde Folco.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Sandra Harder and Bill Young, Research Officers.
On a motion by Andy Scott it was agreed, -- That the report be adopted as the First Report of the Sub-Committee on Children & Youth at Risk of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities subject to the inclusion, of the amendments summarized by the researcher at the meeting.
It was agreed, -- That the Chair be authorized to present the amended report to the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities.
It was agreed, -- That the Committee authorize the printing of dissenting opinions as an appendix to this report immediately following the signature of the Chair; that the dissenting opinions be limited to not more than 3 pages and that they be delivered in both official languages to the Clerk of the Committee not later than Wednesday, December 15th, 1999 at noon.
At 10:31 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
