Wednesday, March 29, 2000
The Sub-Committee on Children and Youth at Risk of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met at 3:40 p.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, John Godfrey, presiding.
Member(s) of the Sub-Committee present: Libby Davies, Raymonde Folco, Christiane Gagnon, John Godfrey, Eric Lowther and Diane St-Jacques.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Kristen Douglas and Bill Young, Research Officers.
Witness(es): From the Conference Board of Canada: Judith MacBride-King, Associate Director, Research, Centre for Management Effectiveness.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), a study on the future of children and youth in Canada.
Judith MacBride-King made a statement and answered questions.
At 4:53 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
