The Standing Committee on Health met at 9:08 o’clock a.m., this day, in
room 705, La Promenade Bldg., the Chair, Beth Phinney, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Elinor Caplan, Aileen Carroll, Claude Drouin, Reed Elley, Grant Hill, Lynn Myers, Pauline Picard, Maurice Vellacott, Joseph Volpe, Judy Wasylycia-Leis.

In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Odette Madore, Nancy Miller-Chenier and Gérald Lafrenière, Research Officers.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of natural health products. (See Minutes of Proceedings dated Thursday, November 20, 1997.)
