Wednesday, November 4, 1998
The Sub-Committee on the Study of Sport in Canada met at 3:30 o'clock p.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, Dennis Mills, presiding.
Members of the Committee Sub-Committee present: Denis Coderre, Albina Guarnieri, Wendy Lill, Peter MacKay, Inky Mark, Dennis Mills, Pat O'Brien, George Proud, Suzanne Tremblay.
Acting Member(s) present:
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Claude Blanchette, Researcher.
Witnesses: From the Canadian Sporting Goods Association: Yves Paquette, President; From the "Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières": François Trudeau, Professor; From the Athletics Canada: John Thresher, President and Chief Executive Officer.
