Thursday, October 29, 1998
The Sub-Committee on the Study of Sport in Canada met at 3:53 o'clock p.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Acting Chair, Denis Coderre, presiding.
Members of the Committee Sub-Committee present: Denis Coderre, Inky Mark and Suzanne Tremblay.
Acting Members present: Marlene Jennings for Dennis Mills, Guy St-Julien for Albina Guarnieri, John Finlay for Pat O'Brien, and Ivan Grose for George Proud.
Other Members present: Robert Bertrand and Bernard Patry.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Claude Blanchette, Researcher.
Witnesses:From "Sports-Québec": Jean-Guy Ouellet, President; Claude Pelletier, Director General.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Sub-Committee resumed consideration of the Study of Sport in Canada.
The witnesses made opening statements and answered questions.
At 5:10 o'clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
