MINUTES OF PROCEEDING
(Meeting No. 10)

Tuesday, November 25, 1997

The Standing Committee on Natural Resources and Government Operations met in camera at 11:10 o’clock a.m., this day, in room 371, West Block, the Chair, Brent St. Denis, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Gérard Asselin, Gilles Bernier, David Chatters, Roy Cullen, Raymonde Folco, Ovid L. Jackson, Jerry Pickard, Carmen Provenzano, Ben Serré, Darrel Stinson and Brent St. Denis.

Acting Members present: Jean Augustine for Bob Wood; Julian Reed for Gerry Byrne.

In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: : Jean-Luc Bourdages, Research Officer.

In accordance with its mandate under Standing Order 108(2), an examination of the issues surrounding the Kyoto Conference on Climate Change.

The Committee examined a draft report.

And debate arising thereon; it was agreed,--That the Committee authorize the printing of the dissenting opinion of the Reform Party as an Appendix to this report, once adopted, immediately after the signature of the Chair; that the dissenting opinion be limited to not more than two pages (single space) and that it be delivered to the Clerk of the Committee not later than 5:00 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 1997.

At 12:45 o’clock p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
