MINUTES OF PROCEEDINGS
(Meeting No. 9)
TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 1998
The Sub-Committee on the Study of Sport in Canada of the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met at 9:12 o’clock a.m., this day, in a televised session, in Room 371, West Block, the Chair, Dennis Mills, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Dennis Mills, Denis Coderre, Pat O'Brien and George Proud.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Claude Blanchette, Research Officer.
Witness: From Metro Toronto Hockey League: John Gardner, President. As individual: Lois Kalchman.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed the consideration of the Study of Sport in Canada.
John Gardner and Lois Kalchman made opening statements and answered questions.
At 10:37 o’clock a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
