| M-283 — March 9, 2009 — Resuming consideration of the motion of Mr. Patry (Pierrefonds—Dollard), seconded by Mr. Scarpaleggia (Lac-Saint-Louis), — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should act immediately to implement the measures of the Advisory Group report "National Roundtables on Corporate Social Responsibility and the Canadian Extractive Industry in Developing Countries" by creating, in an appropriate legal framework and with the funds needed, an independent ombudsman office with the power to receive and investigate complaints. | M-283 — 9 mars 2009 — Reprise de l'étude de la motion de M. Scarpaleggia (Lac-Saint-Louis), — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre, le gouvernement devrait agir sans délai, afin de mettre en œuvre les mesures du Groupe consultatif « Les Tables rondes nationales sur la responsabilité sociale des entreprises et l’industrie extractive canadienne dans les pays en développement » en instaurant entre autres, dans un cadre légal approprié et avec les fonds nécessaires, un poste d’ombudsman indépendant, lequel aurait le pouvoir de recevoir et d’investiguer les plaintes. |
