Melissa Lantsman (Thornhill), seconded by Fred Davies (Niagara South), moved, — That, given that the Liberal government is banning the sale of gas-powered vehicles that will force Canadians to buy electric vehicles, and this mandate will drive up the cost of vehicles by $20,000, in order to allow Canadians the choice to purchase any vehicle that meets their needs at a price they can afford, the House call on the Liberal government to immediately end their ban on gas-powered vehicles.

Melissa Lantsman (Thornhill), appuyée par Fred Davies (Niagara-Sud), propose, — Que, étant donné que le gouvernement libéral interdit la vente de véhicules à essence, ce qui obligera les Canadiens à acheter des véhicules électriques, et que ce mandat fera augmenter le coût des véhicules de 20 000 $, afin de permettre aux Canadiens de choisir le véhicule qui répond à leurs besoins à un prix abordable, la Chambre demande au gouvernement libéral de mettre fin immédiatement à son interdiction des véhicules à essence.

Pursuant to Standing Order 81(18), the House proceeded to the taking of the deferred recorded division on the motion of Melissa Lantsman (Thornhill), seconded by Fred Davies (Niagara South), — That, given that the Liberal government is banning the sale of gas-powered vehicles that will force Canadians to buy electric vehicles, and this mandate will drive up the cost of vehicles by $20,000, in order to allow Canadians the choice to purchase any vehicle that meets their needs at a price they can afford, the House call on the Liberal government to immediately end their ban on gas-powered vehicles.
